Kigali - Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast at your hotel, you will then be briefed on your safari and drive to Musanze in the north-west of Rwanda, the gateway to the Volcanoes National Park. The drive is through beautiful rolling hills on a comfortable paved road and is approximately 3 hours from Kigali. You'll enjoy an afternoon visit iby’ I wacu Cultural Village before returning to your hotel for dinner.
Overnight : Bishop’s House ( Full board)
Volcanoes National Park - gorilla trekking
After your morning wake-up call and breakfast, you'll drive to the park HQ for a briefing on gorilla etiquette. Park rangers will have already left to locate the habituated gorilla groups. You will be assigned to a specific group of gorillas. Each trekking group has a maximum of eight people and your trek will vary in length depending on which gorilla group you have been assigned to. After locating your assigned gorilla group you will spend one hour in their company before retracing your steps back down the volcano's slopes. Lunch at your lodge.
Overnight : Bishop’s House ( Full board)
Departure
After breakfast, you will check out and drive back to Kigali, being taken to the airport fro your onward connection or flight home.
