After breakfast at the hotel, check-out and drive to Tarangire National Park.

Tarangire is home to large herds of elephant and other iconic wildlife species as well as more than 400 bird species. The park's picturesque landscape is dotted with large baobab trees and gets its name from the Tarangire River that runs through it. During the dry season (from around August to October) the river is the only source of water for the animals.

After breakfast at the lodge, you will head to Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive.

Lake Manyara National Park sits at the base of the Great Rift Valley and is famous for its tree-climbing lions. The large shallow lake and the surrounding landscape are extremely scenic. The lake and the surrounding area are home to over 300 bird species, including flocks of migratory flamingo. During the dry season, the lake waters recede exposing large grass covered areas.

After breakfast and check-out, you will be transferred to the Serengeti National Park (approximately 4hrs' drive). Enjoy a game drive en-route to your camp in the central Serengeti where lunch will be served. The spectacular and secluded location of this camp boasts year-round wildlife viewing. There will be time to relax before departing for an afternoon game drive in the park followed by dinner. 

Hotel (Standard comfort): Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp 

Spend the day exploring the vast Serengeti plains. The name Serengeti comes from the Maasai language and means "endless place". The vast open savannahs and wooded grasslands are home to large predators like lion, leopard, cheetah, herds of buffalo, elephant, giraffe and also to a host of plains game and a wide variety of birdlife. All meals will be served at the camp today.

After breakfast at the lodge, you will check-out and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, descending to the crater floor for full day game viewing. The Ngorongoro Crater is a World Heritage Site and is the home to a wide variety of animals. The Crater consists of a number of ecological environments, including grasslands, swamps, forests and even a soda lake. Afterwards, you will ascend back to the rim of the crater in late afternoon and check in at your lodge, arriving in time to freshen up before dinner.

After breakfast and check-out, you will drive to Arusha with a picnic lunch to enjoy en route. You'll arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home or onward connection.
