This safari gives us plenty of time to really experience these very popular parks and all the wildlife wonders they hold. Masai Mara is known for its great numbers of large and small game offering lots of sightings in the busy reserve. At Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and nearby parks, you’ll have the fun of sailing, walking, and bicycling safaris to get near the animals. This medium-length safari will have you exploring three wonderful destinations and all the natural wildlife that are waiting for your discovery and at the end of the sfarai get to relax in the sandy tropical beach of Diani.

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Nairobi, you will be met & greeted by our company’s representative and transferred to the Hemingways  for check-in.

Depending on your time of arrival you can spedn the rest of the day at leisure or at an extra cost you can get to visit Karen Blixen Museum author of ‘‘Out of Africa’’ movie, Giraffe centre sanctuary and hand-feed the gentle endangered Rothschild giraffes, later visit the Daphne Sheldrick Animal Orphanage Trust and learn how orphaned baby elephants and rhinos are bottle-fed and re-introduced back to the wild.

Lake Nakuru n. park.


Early morning breakfast and after meet with your driver at the hotel lobby for briefing at 0745hrs, after at 0800hrs we leave and head for Lake Nakuru national park. The drive via farming country and local homesteads via the Great Rift Valley escarpment floor is scenically arriving in time into your lodge for check-in, lunch and some rest. Later you will depart for afternoon game drives. The Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the top tourist destinations in Africa, famed for the Flamingos, both lesser and greater, that flock to its shores to feed on the cyanobacteria that live in its alkaline waters. It is a very important breeding ground and stop over for many species of birds and has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Park is home to one of the greatest concentrations of Black Rhino in the World and has a thriving population of White Rhino. It is also a sanctuary for the rare Rothschild Giraffe. With luck, you may spot a leopard, which is rather elusive. Lake Nakuru National Park, set around the shallow soda lake. Originally established as a bird sanctuary known for its spectacular birdlife. When water levels are high enough massive flocks of flamingos have been known to gather at the lake. Highlights on the game drive may include sighting both black and white rhinos, for which the park is better known today. Commonly sighted animals include giraffes, baboons, zebras, buffalos, antelopes, and hippos, with rare animals including leopards. Later in the evening return to your lodge after the wildlife viewing adventure for dinner and overnight stay.

This morning you journey south to the Masai Mara National Reserve. On arrival you will check in to the lodge for lunch. Spend three nights here to explore, discover and experience the magic and 7th wonder of the world – “Masai Mara Game Reserve’’ a spectacular watch of the immense “Big-Five” Lion, Rhino, Buffaloes, Cheater and Elephant and wildebeest migration from Serengeti-park Tanzania into Masai Mara-Kenya. Expertise and experience of our driver-guides will maximize your chances of seeing all the splendours of Masai Mara and beyond. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Maasai Mara National Reserve.

After breakfast 7:00-AM, go for a full day game drive in the park until evening. Picnic lunch will be served at a picnic site as you watch hippos and crocodile in the Masai Mara River. The Masai Mara is one of the most famous ecosystems in the world. This huge expanse of grassland is home to an astonishing variety of wildlife such as elephant, buffalo, zebra, crocodile, ostrich, hyena, rhino, cheetah, leopard, and lion. Between mid-august to late October, one of the greatest spectacles on Earth takes place in the Masai Mara – the annual wildebeest migration. Over one million wildebeest are joined by zebra and gazelle as they move into the reserve seeking fresh grazing. Nothing is guaranteed on safari, but with the help of our brilliant guides, you should see and learn a huge amount about the resident wildlife as you drive through the park. Later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Maasai Mara N. Reserve.


Optional Early Morning balloon safari ride (US$450.00 per person) across the Maasai Mara plain. Breakfast at the lodge then enjoy morning and afternoon game drives. Masai Mara is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem to the south. Game abounds here; The Mara is noted for its abundance of lions – particularly the superb black maned males. See the great Migration where over 1.5 million wildebeest and other antelopes crossing the mighty Mara River. Experience the battle between survival and hunger. You are also likely to see lots of elephants here often in large herds, as well as – if you’re lucky leopard, cheetah and rhino. All of the Big Five are residents. You’re sure to see the African buffalo. Get the cameras ready, stock up on film/tapes and enjoy yourselves. During the day, an optional visit to a local Masai village (payable direct) to learn their culture as well as support their conservation efforts. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Lake Naivasha.


Early Morning sunrise game drive in Masai Mara returning to your lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, we will drive to Naivasha. You will arrive to Naivasha in time for lunch. Lake Naivasha is the highest Lake of the Rift Valley located at an altitude of 1890 meters above sea level. This lake is a combination of volcanic rocks and sedimentary deposits. It has a length of 139 square kilometres. It is home to a population of more than 400 bird’s species and has a large population of Hippos. Part of the Movie “Out of Africa” was filmed in this area. We will enjoy the magnificent facilities, gardens, swimming pool and outdoor areas of the Lodge, the beautiful views of the Lake as the lodge have fantastic views full of resident wildlife such as Giraffes, Zebras and Gazelles. Later in the day depart from the resort to conduct a boat ride that will enable you to see colonies of hippopotamuses, the fishing eagles in action, marabou stork, crocodiles, etc. Later proceed on a guided crescent Island Tour which is situated at the middle of the Lake. Here you will be able to view wild animals that permanently live here like wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, giraffes, warthogs. We will disembark with a local guide and will continue trekking on foot through this Island that is located at the heart of the Lake, walking at our pace around this incredible place. This will give you a chance to see and photograph the animals that reside here. After the walk you will take a boat ride back to the shore and drive back to the resort for dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Lake Naivasha.

Early morning breakfast in the hotel depart for a visit to Hell’s Gate National Park. Hells Gate national park is famous for its natural hot geysers, eagle and vulture breeding grounds as well as activities by visitors in the park such as walking, cycling and rock climbing. There are also special locations to view such as Fischers’ Tower formerly a volcano’s plug, the central Tower and Njorowas Gorge.
The Olkaria and Hobleys’ the 2 extinct volcanoes are worth a trip as natural steam vents rise from fissures in the volcanic rock. There is also game in this park which includes the buffalo, Masai Giraffe among others and over 100 species of birds have been recorded.
Later in the evening drive back to your resort for dinner and overnight stay.

Proceed for the pre breakfast morning game drive in the park followed by late breakfast at the camp as you depart for Nairobi with lunch enroute, where your journey will end with a transfer to the airport for onward flight.

Mombasa Diani Beach

Following an early breakfast, you’ll catch your last views of Lake Naivasha as you check-out from your resort. From here drive along a good tarmac road across the beautiful and seemingly never-ending Rift Valley, arriving in Kenya’s bustling capital city of Nairobi by early mid-day. On arrival, lunch at the carnivore later drop off at the airport for your afternoon flight to Mombasa. Arrive at the airport later in the evening where you will be picked by our representative and transferred to your resort Resort for overnight stay on Half-Board basis.

Diani Beach

Spend the day relaxing on the beach or by the pool, exploring the local village, or taking part in one of the many activities offered which you can arrange directly with the hotel (e.g., snorkelling, scuba diving, spa treatments, swimming with dolphins, etc.). Your stay at your premium accommodations includes breakfast, and dinner. If you decide to eat outside the resort, you will be responsible for any costs incurred.
