The lodge is located by the lake and has beautiful grounds with huge cactus and many acacia trees and there is often wildlife wandering around such as bushbuck, zebra and giraffe. The main building has an interior garden, fireplaces and low comfy leather sofas.

The rooms themselves are spacious, Swahili style chalets either with a balcony or a glass fronted lounge area for relaxing and wildlife viewing. Masai Mara game reserve

An early morning drive to Masai Mara National Reserve, it holds on as one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed, in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of Wildebeest, Zebras and attendant predators. Have lunch en-route, evening is spent at leisure. Dinner and overnight at camp.

You are also likely to see lots of elephants here often in large herds, as well as – if you’re lucky leopard, cheetah and rhino. All of the Big Five are residents.

You’re sure to see the African buffalo. Get the cameras ready, stock up on film/tapes and enjoy yourselves!.
