After Breakfast, fly to Tarangire National Park, where open grasslands, acacia trees and the Tarangire River paint the wild landscape. Spend the afternoon on a game drive in search of eland, Oryx, wildebeests, zebras and a large elephant population. Keep your eyes trained for hartebeests, gazelles and exotic birds like the bateleur and martial eagle. Tonight, gather with fellow guests for a welcome dinner.

As you cross the Great Rift Valley, stop for a market visit in Mto wa Mbu, where stalls brim with vibrant local produce. Then, see the village from a different perspective as you Ride Like a Local on a tuk-tuk, viewing the local community and rice fields as you go. This afternoon relax on your veranda to view the panoramic natural wonderland.

After breakfast we drive and descend some 610 meters into the crater, which is home to an abundance of wildlife and a photogenic paradise, for a full day of game viewing drive with picnic lunch at a private scenic site (hippos pool). Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world teams with an abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. Prides of lions, herds of Cape buffalo, impala, Thompson gazelles, rhino, golden and black backed jackal, zebra, cheetah, leopard and the spotted hyena freely roam on the crater floor plains. Unmatched for its natural variety and breath taking beauty, there are few places on earth where such a tremendous diversity of landscapes exists inside a region this size. Apart from its wildlife riches, the crater is also home to hundreds of bird species, refreshing in the small lakes in the crater floor.

Early Morning Venture out on your last morning game drives in the protected Serengeti refuge, where flowing rivers support a plethora of species. Return back to your camp for breakfast. Check out and transfer to the local airstrip for your scheduled flight to Masai Mara. Optional Early Morning balloon safari ride (US$450.00 per person) across the Maasai Mara plain. Breakfast at the lodge then enjoy morning and afternoon game drives. Masai Mara is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem to the south. Game abounds here; The Mara is noted for its abundance of lions – particularly the superb black maned males. See the great Migraton where over 1.5 million wildebeest and other antelopes crossing the mighty Mara River. Experience the battle between survival and hunger. You are also likely to see lots of elephants here often in large herds, as well as – if you’re lucky leopard, cheetah and rhino. All of the Big Five are residents. You’re sure to see the African buffalo. Get the cameras ready, stock up on film/tapes and enjoy yourselves. During the day, visit a local masai village (payable direct) to learn their culture as well as support their conservation efforts. Dinner and overnight at your luxury camp.

Early Morning Venture out on your last morning game drives in the protected Masai Mara returning back to your camp for breakfast. After Check out and transfer to the local airstrip for your scheduled flight to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport. On arrival, lunch at the carnivore restaurant then transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your scheduled evening flight to back home.
