ELIAS WANGARI

I was born raised and studied in the central of Kenya. From a youth age I had passion in Tourism and travelling influenced by a neighbor who owned a travel company. Being a very close family friend, I grew loving his job and his knowledge of different regions and travel related topics. I knew I wanted to be in a Tourism field.

After school I moved to Nairobi where I did my higher studies in Tourism management. I worked as a travel consultant in Nairobi before I moved to Tanzania and worked in a big hotel training staff on customer service. I would later work with different tour/travel companies as a tour manager and marketing.

Being exposed and experienced in travel in both Kenya and Tanzania, we joined and started Leadwood Holidays.

JOHN PHILIPO MWANGA

I was born at the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro where I studied my primary and Secondary education. After school I started working as a porter on Mount Kilimanjaro where my passion to study Tourism started.
Before joining college, I studied auto mechanic in Arusha where I got fund to join a college in Arusha

to study Tour guiding courses.
I am married with 3 kids and when not guiding a safari, I volunteer in helping and educating the community on legal matters. I love birding and reading a lot. I am a qualified and certified by TTGA (Tanzania Tourism Guides Association)

ROBSON URASA

Born on the slope of Mt Kilimanjaro and I am married with 3 boys. After secondary school I did auto mechanic and worked in Arusha for few years. I was later employed by a tour company as their supply driver. I would supply camping materials to Serengeti and other parks while being their head of garage at the same time.

While on supply job, I would help the driver guides and crew to set up the camp and cook and from here I got passion to be a driver guide.

I started studying Tour guiding course at party time and the same company later employed me as a driver guide.
I am a qualified and certified by TTGA (Tanzania Tourism Guides Association)

REMMY EDWARDS

Born and raised in the capital of Tanzania Dar Es Salaam, I am married with 2 kids. I did my studies in Dar Es Salaam and later joined college in Arusha to study tour guiding. Having been exposed to tourism from a young age. It what i wanted to do.

After college I got training on the field with one company and later worked for some years as an assistant guide. I am experienced and have been in the industry for more than 15 years. I am a qualified and certified by TTGA (Tanzania Tourism Guides Association)

ROGER MADAVA

I was born and raised in Arusha. My father is an experienced guide to date working with a different company. He inspired me in joining the industry and I knew I would follow his footsteps.

I studied tour guiding in Arusha and later worked with different companies as a temporarily driver for short day trips where I got experience. I later started doing long safaris and I have been in the industry for more than 10 years.

I am married with 2 boys. I am a qualified and certified by TTGA (Tanzania Tourism Guides Association)
